Getting GNU Emacs
One of the latest and greatest OLD pieces of software you can add to your computer is the Emacs text editor, or more specifically the GNU Emacs editor.
What can Emacs do? First and foremost it is a text editor, you write with it. If you write documents, notes or code Emacs can do it. Emacs runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, it runs with a nifty graphic screen or just in text mode. The emphasis for Emacs is letting you enter and edit whatever you want, efficiently.
Windows 10 Disk Space
Windows 10 has been the mainstay PC operating system for both home and business for years. For the most part, it works, as long as you do a bit of maintenance several times a year.
Windows 10 is a pack rat, unless you take action, it will slowly but surely fill your disk with old temporary files, updates to updates and general junk.
The good news is that although Windows is rotten at cleaning up after itself, a couple of simple commands and a little time will allow you to force it to get rid of the accumulated junk which will recover space and speed your computer back up.
